conversation course
LINGUAPOLIS - FRENCH 2
Important: We organise a conversation course for students with
a thorough prior knowledge. The course focuses on developing and
practising communicative skills and enriching and expanding vocabulary.
Grammar is not an explicit part of the course; however, persistent
problems will be remedied. The use of authentic texts, film extracts and
music gives students a real taste of the language, culture and society.
New students have to make the entry test. The LINGUAPOLIS secretary
will provide you with all necessary information about the assessment.

Version Originale 4, livre de l’élève, F. Barthélémy e. a., Editions Maison
des Langues, Paris, 2012 Rond Point is a monolingual French textbook. It is a communicative
methodology, placing strong emphasis on real-world language and everyday
situations. In Nouveau Rond-Point there is systematic focus on grammar
and vocabulary to enable learners to develop their abilities in all skill areas.
Language is learned within a socio-cultural context, so that students get to
know more about French culture and society.
Version Originale 4 guides students to use French effectively, with a special
emphasis on communication. It is dedicated to people who would like to
develop their vocabulary and linguistic fluency above an upper-intermediate
level. In combination with thorough language presentation it will enable
students to communicate both fluently and accurately.
The conversation course makes use of:
Oui, mais..., C. Engelen, J. De Pessemier, Editions Pelckmans.
Oui, mais... offers a series of activities concerning current social topics.
The activities are built up progressively and the topics are taught in an
innovative and varied way. Oui, mais... is aimed at adults with good prior
knowledge of French.
