I lecture in the E-MBA and MBA programs at HKUST, ranked #1 and #9 in the world by
The Financial Times, as well as the HKUST Executive Education program, ranked #1 in
Asia. My teaching focus is on building powerful consumer brands in China and how
executives can maximize their leadership potential. I am also a guest lecturer at the
Saiid School of Business at Oxford, UK and the Queen’s School Of Business in Canada.

harness the capability and enthusiasm of retired PepsiCo executives in order to magnify

I was responsible for all PepsiCo foods and beverages across Asia including India, China
and all the Pacific Rim countries. I created a “One Company” vision for the 80 PepsiCo
businesses pan Asia and developed a portfolio strategy to optimize performance via a
mix of organic growth and acquisitions. I established Asia based R&D and developed
strong innovation processes. I had extensive experience forming joint ventures,
restructuring operations and integrating acquisitions. I achieved annual double digit
volume, 20% revenue and 40% profit growth.

I was responsible for all Franchise and Joint Venture beverage operations spanning India,
China and the Pacific Rim countries. I established a clear Asia portfolio strategy, codified
operating best practices and strengthened the executive teams across Asia.

I was responsible for all franchised and joint venture beverage operations across
Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, Japan, Korea, Australia
and New Zealand. I integrated Gatorade and Tropicana acquisitions and launched noncarbonated products including Aquafina, Sting and Tropicana Juice Drinks. I refranchised
Australia and restructured Philippines and Vietnam bottling.

I restructured 13 joint ventures to introduce stronger PRC partners, established active
selling and distribution processes, locally relevant brand building and robust JV
governance. I achieved record volume, share and profit growth each and every year.

I was responsible for US $2 billion in revenue from company owned bottling operations
in central USA as well as Pepsi-Cola Canada Beverages. I set North America wide sales
and marketing strategies as a member of the North America Senior Leadership Team.

I restructured production, sales, IT and marketing to successfully counter private labels.
