Enclosed is Girl Scouts of the Philippines-Rizal Council LC Circular No. 02, S. 2015 dated
January 26,2015, re: 2015 COUNCILWIDE ENCAMPMENT on February 19-22, 2015 at Tanay
EPIC PARC Rainforest Camp, Tanay, Rizal, the content of which is self-explanatory, for information
and appropriate action.
Nonetheless, this office reiterates the no-disruption-of-classes policy as stipulated in DepEd
Order No.9, S.2005 entitled "INSTITUTING MEASURES TO INCREASE ENGAGED TIME-ON-TASK
AND ENSURING COMPLIANCE THEREWITH."

Camping is a great way for girls to explore leadership, build skills, enjoy
experience of living in
the out-of-doors. It is also a gateway for them to learn how to interact with others thus, allowit:g them to
learn more values that will make their lives happier.
In consideration of the greater welfare of our GIRLS, we beseeth your official permission for all
qualified members to join this biggest event of our Council 'only your unwavering support and cooperation
will be our gateway towards a successful encampment.

"Girl Scouts say ... Together We Can Help Change the World" "Ine l'un, Magic and Magic ofCamping" February 19-22, EPIC PARC Rainforest Camp, QUALIFICATIONS of CAMPERS
1. Must be duly registered Juniors, Seniors, Cadets, Troop Leaders
2. Girls must have Parent's Consent.
3. Girls must have earned at least 2 badges.
4. Girls and Troop Leaders must be physically, emotionally, psychologically
well to live in the out-of-doors.
5. Troop Leaders must have taken the Outdoor Leadership Course.
START of ARRIVAL : 1:00 o'clock in, the afternoon of 19 February
(please avoid coming earlier because the Camping, Staff are still' preparing the campsite.)
EVENT FEE : php400;00 per Girl and php200.00 per Troop Leader

LIST of THINGS to BRING:
Individual Patrol Official GSP / Camping uniform
black shoes and rubber shoes
jogging pants and/or jeans, GSP T-Sh!rts for activities
jacket and raincoat
personal stuff for a 4-day outdoor life living
drinking and eating utensils
small pail and dipper
light beddings and sleeping bag or bed roll
sit-upon that are water resistant e.g. old tarpaulin, or plastic sack
extra T-Shirt for printing
insect repellant
working flashlight
art and writing materials, old newspapers and magazines
Tent for shelter and fly tent for kitchen
Food and drinking water supply
Stove (charcoal or super kalan)
cooking utensils and equipment
2 sets patrol basin / dipper / pail (for cooking and bathroom use)
Garbage bags
gadgets - shoe rack, tripod, tab,le, clothesline
Note: No chairs or tables will be allowed.
