Article I.
Objective

Problem: Does gender affect visual selective attention?

Hypothesis: You are affected differently by your gender
Article II. Materials
Here you will list all the materials you will need to complete your experiment:
• 10 boys and 10 girls
• Pictures and procedure for stroop effect
• Posters
• Stopwatch or timer
Article III. Procedures
1. Find 10 girl and boy volunteers to help with the experiment.
2. Make posters
3. Take one person at a time into a perfectly quiet room or place where there aren’t a bunch of
people running around.
4. Time the members as they read through the posters.
5. Repeat this process through all of the boys and girls.
6. Make a graph showing the different amounts of time it takes for each person to complete
the poster.
7. Then repeat the same posters with all of the volunteers and show if their times got any
better or if they got worse.
8. Record Data in table.
