BMW Sales Executive – Elms Bedford
Reports to:
BMW Sales Manager
Role Purpose
To achieve agreed sales targets for BMW within defined operating and financial
guidelines.
Accountabilities
 To achieve and where possible exceed
Sales Targets
 Responsibility for the sales enquiry
process as documented in QMA
process descriptions
 To prepare and use a planned sales
product presentation including
customer greeting, demonstrations and
closing of sales.
 Using customer follow-up and
prospecting systems to create sales
opportunities for new and repeat
business.
 Ensure consistent in depth knowledge
of all products, accessories and prices.
 To deliver excellent customer service
and deal with any queries or
complaints effectively, advising Sales
Manager where necessary.
 Ensure all administration, paperwork
and computerised records are updated
and maintained accurately.
 Carry out accurate appraisals of all
vehicles presented for part exchange,
agreeing valuations with Sales
Manager
 To work in a safe and healthy manner
and be aware and report hazards
which may affect others.

Reporting to: Sales Manager / Brand Manager
Role Purpose
To work in collaboration with the Sales / Brand Manager in the day to day management of the
New and Used Car Sales Department. Main focus to be the selling of new and used vehicles and
to maximise profitability through the sale of finance solutions and insurance to customers that
have purchased a new or used vehicle from the company aiming to grow the finance customer
data base.
Accountabilities












To assist Sales Manager in setting and
achieving departmental and individual
volume, profit, CSP, F&I and other
related targets.
Responsibility
for
the
sales
management process as documented
in QMA process descriptions
Responsibility for the finance process
as documented in QMA process
descriptions
To control the Sales process ensuring
all sales activities are systematically
managed, including direct negotiation
with customers if required, to ensure
that deals retain maximum profit.
To control and monitor the sales
people’s prospect system ensuring that
all information is being entered,
updated and used effectively.
Ensure that all relevant QMA and
operational procedures, including CI
and Brand Values are adhered to at all
times.
Assist Sales Manager in ensuring all
new stock is maintained and displayed
in line with Company stocking policy.
Take an active part in the arrangement
of promotional activity.
To sell finance, credit insurance,
warranties and any other services
offered by the dealership
To assist with providing a platform for
future sales.
To liaise closely with members of the
Sales Team to close deals.
