Automotive/Diesel Mechanic
Councils have jobs for mechanics to repair and maintain heavy
to medium earth moving and other commercial vehicles used to build roads,
lay pipelines, collect waste and recycling, compact landfills, and perform
landscaping and gardening work.
Council work includes maintenance and repair small and medium commercial
vehicles, through to trucks and specialist vehicles such as waste/recycling
compactor trucks fitted with robotic arms, landfill compactors, dozers,
excavators, rollers, mowers, sprayers, utilities, cars and even perhaps a snow
plough.
Training available in Tasmania
Certificate II, III, or IV in Automotive (Mechanical) with and appropriate
