1. What is the self in relation to communication? How does self-fulfilling

2. Be able to talk about direct definition, where it comes from, how it affects
who we become.
3. What are identity scripts? How do they differ from direct definition?
Think about your identity scripts. Are there some you have chosen to let go
of and others you have chosen to continue? If you could rewrite an
identity script, how would you do so?
4. How have attachment styles – secure, fearful, dismissive, or
anxious/ambivalent – affected your life or the lives of your friends?
5. What positive and negative effects on your self-concept could
have come from social comparison?
