I hope this letter finds you doing well. (Give Brief update on what is currently going on
in your life. No more than two sentences. Maybe include what year you are at UNCW,
what your major is.) Also, during my time at UNCW, I've been involved with a christian
ministry called Cru. Cru seeks to give every person at UNCW the opportunity to hear
and respond to the good news of Jesus. If we reach leaders on the campus today with
the gospel, we can reach the world tomorrow. (give a brief explanation of how you have
benefitted from being involved with Cru. maybe something like, "over the past two
years, as I have attended bible studies and conferences with Cru, and gotten to live life
with other Christians on campus, I've grown significantly in my walk with the Lord."

In March, I hope to invest my spring break on a week long training conference and
mission trip with Cru called Big Break. At Big Break, I will be trained in evangelism,
then we will go out in groups onto Panama City Beach in the afternoons to share the
gospel and put into practice what we've learned. My hope is to return to UNCW better
equipped to share Jesus with my roommates, classmates, professors, and friends. God
has called me to this university, not just to get an education, but also to be salt and light
here.
This is where you can take part in reaching lost college students for Christ. I need to
raise $404 to cover the trip (including housing, registration, materials, and travel costs).
Would you consider partnering with me for $100, $75, $50, or another amount as you
feel led, to help me bring the gospel to these students? (Leave this previous part in just
as we wrote it! It challenges people to give more than $5-$10 but leaves room for them
to give smaller amounts if they are not able to give more) If so, you can mail a check to
me using the pre-addressed and stamped envelope, made out to “Cru”. All donations
are tax deductible.
I would also like to ask if you would consider partnering with me in prayer. Would you
pray that I would grow in confidence and boldness as I learn more about sharing my
faith, and for opportunities to share the gospel with those around me as I return to
UNCW.
