Safe Driving.
Introduction
Next year (or the year after) many of you will be getting your driver’s license. This is
definitely an achievement and something to be proud of. However, getting into a car and
behind a wheel is also a big responsibility. In the year 2003, 451 people were killed on our
roads. 83 of these people were children, plus another 645 children were seriously injured.
Our project is going to deal with teenage driving and safety. We are going to look at the
causes of accidents on the roads and find out ways of preventing the accidents, which
injure and kill so many people. Hopefully, this project will help you become better drivers.

How do we prevent people dying and being injured on the roads?
