“English Words from Other Languages” Competition









Here is competition that you may like to run in your school.
You can change the words and pictures, the prize, and the dates.
Print out the document.
Laminate the words and pictures and put them on display (see the photo below).
Put together the competition forms by using both sides of A4 paper and folding
the sheets in half.
Here are the answers: Karaoke-Japanese, Mosque-Arabic, Athlete-Greek,
Kindergarten-German, Lychee-Chinese, Safari-Swahili, Yogurt-Turkish,
Catamaran-Tamil, Mammoth-Russian, Bungalow-Bengali.
