NAS NRUF/NNS/Website Training
In response to some comments from the 2004 NANPA performance evaluation survey, NANPA
is planning some refresher training on the use of the NANP Administration System (NAS) NRUF
on-line capabilities as well as the NANP Notification System (NNS) and public website.
NANPA provided similar training in early 2004 with the implementation of NAS.
NNS/Public Website Training
This training will address the number resource information found on the NANPA website as well
as the use of the NAS NANP Notification System (NNS). The purpose of the training is to
familiarize interested parties with what data is available on the website and where it can be found
and to help users access NPA relief planning and other important documents available via NNS.
Tentative training dates and times are as follows:
October 13, 2005 – 11:00am ET – 2 hours
October 19, 2005 – 2:00pm ET – 2 hours
Each session is limited to 30 participants on a first-come, first-serve basis. An NNS notice will
be distributed the week of September 26, 2005 announcing the two training sessions. Notice will
not require participants to register with NANPA; participation on a first/come, first/serve basis.
For more information, contact Wayne Milby (wayne.milby@neustar.biz) or Joe Cocke
(joe.cocke@neustar.biz).
NAS NRUF Training
This training will focus primarily on the NAS NRUF on-line submission functionality used by
service providers submitting utilization and forecast data. A review of the email (excel)
submission method will also be addressed.
Tentative training dates and times are as follows:
October 27, 2005 – 11:00am ET – 2 hours
November 2, 2005 – 2:00pm ET – 2 hours
November 8, 2005 – 11:00am ET – 2 hours
Each session is limited to 30 participants. Additional sessions will be scheduled if demand
warrants. An NNS notice will be sent the week of October 10, 2005 announcing the three
training sessions. Participants will be required to register with NANPA (Al Cipparone, NRUF
Manager).
