JOB DESCRIPTION:
1. Basic design:
 Basic Design of Refinery , oil and gas Equipment such as: Heat Exchangers,
Condensers, water coolers, Air cooler, re-boilers, Pressure vessels, two & three
phase separators, Sizing piping , Design and lay out the pump system, Sizing and
Layout the technical specification of safety valves and flare system, Basic design of
storage tanks
 Preparation of Process flow diagrams. (PFD), Piping and instrument diagrams.
(P&ID) and process data sheets for equipment and Review isometric drawings
 Familiar with HAZOP studies , Process Cause and Effects diagrams
 Preparing tenders tec. Specifications for new equipment and have the tec.
Decisions of the bids
 Review third party process design work.
 Specialist in LPG storage tanks
2. Operation:
 Following up and technical support for operation, test run, start up and revamp of
atmospheric Distillation Units, UOP h. naphtha hydro-treating and reforming unit,
mid distillate hydro-treating unit, UOP stabilized gasoline hydro-treating and
Isomerization unit, vapor recovery units , water treatment unit
 Familiar with operation of DCS
 Have studies in natural gas sweetening and dehydration
 Have studies in delayed coking.
 Attended international companies meeting and seminars as UOP for new
technologies, MASDR for CDM projects
 Preparing design training programs and Provide training to fresh engineers and
operators

(Sizing the vessel, sizing safety valve, design P&ID, and preparing technical data sheets)

Participate in design of gasoline storage tanks piping network for CORC
(Sizing gasoline pipelines)

Design of P&ID of pre-flash tower in CORC

Participate in design of H. Naphtha treating unit CORC, (Specifying its safety valves and
design of P&ID.)

Sizing crude oil transfer line from ESH El- MALAHA co. to SUCO co.

Design of three phase separator for ALAMIN Petroleum Co, (Sizing the separator and its
internals, specifying its safety valve, sizing nozzles, preparing data sheet adjust control
