Michael Staley, PMP
As Provost of the Center for Economic Development at Heathrow and the Dean of the School of
Engineering, Design and Construction at Seminole State College, Mr. Staley has transformed
his significant project management experience into Project Management Education. A PMPcredentialed instructor, Mr. Staley has over 20 years in Corporate America managing a vast
array of projects ranging in size from $25,000 to $25+ million. Many of these projects were part
of complex programs and key implementations for aerospace and technology clients. In
addition, he earned his master’s degree in business administration and two bachelor degrees (in
engineering and mathematics). His vast experience in the field coupled with his formal
education make him a powerful instructor. He began teaching at the community college level in
1999.
John Tracy, MBA, MS-MIS, PMP
With over 30 years' experience in software development, Mr. Tracy has managed over 100
major projects for national and international corporations. In the private sector, his
responsibilities have ranged from software developer and development manager to project
manager and project/program director, managing over $200 million in software projects
annually. In the public sector, John has served as Chief Information Officer of a very large
school district. He has also done senior level PM consulting work for public and private sector
clients both domestically and internationally. Over the past 12 years, he has developed and
delivered online and traditional project management training for educational and public
institutions as well as private corporations. Mr. Tracy holds Masters Degrees in Business
Administration and Management Information Systems, has held continuous PMP certification
since 1998, and is currently engaged in developing and delivering project management
courseware and senior level consulting.
Additional lecturers are employed as project management professionals
and are experts in their respective fields.
