DENTAL HYGIENE PROGRAM
In addition to the transferable courses listed (in the right-hand column) below, dental hygiene students who
graduate from EWU must complete courses which satisfy university competencies, proficiencies, and general
education core requirements. These university requirements are outlined in the current EWU General Catalogue
and Annual Course Announcement. Transferable associate degrees will satisfy some of EWU’s lower-division
university requirements, but will not satisfy the upper-division requirements. All students are responsible for
obtaining a current catalogue from the EWU Bookstore, 152 PUB, Cheney, WA 99004, (509)359-2231, or
viewing online at the EWU website (www.ewu.edu) and following its guidelines. Transfer guide subject to
change. Students are responsible for verifying courses are equivalent and transferable.

the program.
Applications are accepted during the Winter prior to the student's expected Fall entry.
Deadline for all steps in the application process is February 15.
