Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA®) validates the
ability to install, configure, operate, and troubleshoot
medium-size route and switched networks
The CCNA certification (Cisco Certified Network Associate) indicates a foundation in and apprentice knowledge of
networking. CCNA certified professionals can install, configure, and operate LAN, WAN, and dial access services for
small networks (100 nodes or fewer), including but not limited to use of these protocols: IP, IGRP, Serial, Frame
Relay, IP RIP, VLANs, RIP, Ethernet, Access Lists.

CCNA Certification Exams
Exam Code 640-802 CCNA® EXAM is the composite exam associated with the Cisco Certified Network Associate certification.
Candidates can prepare for this exam by taking the Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices Part 1 (ICND1) v1.0 and the Interconnecting
Cisco Networking Devices Part 2 (ICND2) v1.0 courses. This exam tests a candidate's knowledge and skills required to install, operate, and
troubleshoot a small to medium size enterprise branch network. The topics include connecting to a WAN; implementing network security;
network types; network media; routing and switching fundamentals; the TCP/IP and OSI models; IP addressing; WAN technologies; operating
and configuring IOS devices; extending switched networks with VLANs; determining IP routes; managing IP traffic with access lists;
establishing point-to-point connections; and establishing Frame Relay connections..
CCNA Recertification - CCNA certifications are valid for three years. To recertify, pass the ICND2 exam, or pass the current CCNA
exam, or pass a CCNA Concentration exam (wireless, security, voice), or pass the current CCDA exam, or pass any 642 - XXX professional
level or Cisco Specialist exam (excluding Sales Specialist exams), or pass a current CCIE or CCDE written exam.
UCCI is proud to host Pearson VUE, Prometric, and Certiport Testing Centers.
If you wish to take an exam through the UCCI Pearson VUE, Prometric or Certiport testing centre, you must make all bookings and payments
through VUE/Prometric/Certiport directly. UCCI does not offer services to arrange or schedule any testing for candidates. All arrangements
and exam costs are solely the candidate’s responsibility.

The UCCI - Grand Cayman Testing Centre is located in the Sam Basdeo Library. The hours of
operation are Mondays to Thursdays from 8:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00
p.m. Saturdays, it is open from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
