Supervised Child
Visitation
Families are Supported on Their Journeys of
Healing
The primary purpose of the Safe Child Visitation Center, located in Fall River, and the Plymouth Family Center, located in Plymouth, is to
promote the safety and welfare of children and parents during visitation and neutral exchanges. Divorce, separation, domestic violence, child
abuse, and substance abuse all contribute to the need for children to have a safe and neutral place to visit with family members in their lives.
Services are offered in English, Portuguese, Spanish and Creole. Supervised visits are scheduled at a time that is considerate to the needs
of the family. Transportation of the children to and from visits is provided by staff members for those children whose foster parents or
guardians are unable to transport them. The Centers feature:

Five visitation rooms equipped with games, furniture, and televisions

Fully operational kitchen area

Additional supports such as parenting groups, anger management groups, self esteem groups, mental health supports, recovery
support groups and services, and the assistance in obtaining domestic violence, sexual assault or stalking supportive services.

The Safe Child Visitation Center in Fall River has separate entrances and exits, separate parking areas, separate arrival and departure
times, and is video-monitored.
