CALL FOR PAPERS
3rd International Conference on Crime and
Criminal Justice in the Caribbean
The Caribbean Conference on Crime and Criminal Justice (February 11-14, 2004) invites
participation in the Third Conference which will be held at the University of the West
Indies, Mona Campus which is located in Kingston, Jamaica. The main theme of the
Conference is:
“Effectively Responding to Serious Crimes”
Efforts are being made to compose panels on the following themes:
• Human Rights in the Caribbean
• Drug Policy
• Crime and the Media
• Trafficking Small Arms
• White Collar Crime
• Crime and Tourism in the Caribbean
• Children in Crime as Victims and Perpetrators
• History of Crime in the Region
• Gender and Crime

We wish to specifically invite papers on the experiences of the wider Caribbean, not just
the Commonwealth Caribbean countries.
Abstract Submission

Include the following information at the top of your abstract, in this sequence:
• Line 1: Title of the presentation in CAPITAL letters;
• Line 2: Name(s) of author(s), with an the name of the presenter asterisked,
• Line 3: Author(s) organization/affiliation in bold Italics
• Line 4: State/Province and Country in Italics
The Abstract must be typed in a font size not less than 10pt
