Review homework comments. Discuss characterization and complete activity.
Connect to Faulkner’s As I Lay Dying as appropriate.
Homework – Read Glaspell’s “A Jury of Her Peers” again focusing on
characterization. Who is the major character?
Wednesday 12-18-13
Adjust for Swing Choir concert tomorrow, students involved take Literary Terms
Quiz II today. In-class writing prompt #3. Continue class discussion of
characterization. Review “Writing About Character” pages 201-203.
