REVOLUTIONARY INDIVIDUALS
Name: ______________________
Historians have long debated how influential a single person can be in
history. Is it that an individual can have a profound impact through their
contributions on a historical event or is it merely the event in history that
lends itself to make individuals seem significant? You will be looking at an
individual during the American Revolution whose contributions can be
debated as influential to the Revolution and its outcomes.
You will be conducting research on an individual from the Revolutionary
War to produce a multi-part project on their contributions to the war. Part
of your project will be done in class, but this will also require time at home to complete the different
parts.
After the research component is complete, as well as a written paper, you will be asked to create a
Farcebook page (a secure website only our class can access) to show more of your knowledge
about your individual. This will be done with the research done by you in your research packet that
will assist you in creating your profile.
Please take this project seriously. Be tasteful and appropriate. Although it is an entertaining project,
it is still a project nonetheless. It will be worth FOUR test grades for the 3 rd marking period.
