TRAINING FOR COURSE DIRECTORS AND TUTORS

It is intended to run training for members of the ACF and ATC who aspire to be Course
Directors or Tutors for the one-day Expedition Assessor Accreditation Course (EAAC). The
training will take place at a location to be announced in the south-west of England on
Saturday 18 Jul 09. On the following day an EAAC course will be run for potential assessors
at the same location, and some of those attending the Course Director Training will be invited
to run this course, under supervision.

There are prerequisites for those wishing to become Course Directors or Tutors as shown
below.
a. Course Directors:

Must be an accredited Gold Assessor (includes WCAS accredited assessors)
Have tutored on a generic Expedition Assessor course
Have a sound knowledge of the DofE especially the Expedition Section (Introduction
to the DofE preferred)
Have extensive recent assessing experience

Must be at least an accredited Bronze/Silver Assessor
Have attended a generic Expedition Assessor course
Have a sound knowledge of the DofE especially the Expedition Section (Introduction
to the DofE preferred)

Bids are invited from anyone interested in attending the course. Please complete the preregistration form attached and return it to the address below by 6 July 09. Joining
Instructions will be sent out after the cut off date.
