MOTION FOR QUANTITATIVE ANALYSIS
TO THE HONORABLE JUDGE OF SAID COURT:
NOW COMES JEAN VALJEAN, DEFENDANT in the above entitled and
numbered cause, and makes his Motion for Quantitative Analysis of alleged controlled
substances, and would show unto the Court the following:
I.
Defendant is accused of possession of marijuana of more than four ounces but
less than five pounds.
II.
Defendant moves the Court to order the Houston Police Department Laboratory to
remove all items in such alleged controlled substance which are not defined as
"marijuana" under Tex. Health & Safety Code Ann. ' 481.002, including mature stalks
and non-germinable seeds, and any packaging materials and to then weigh the remaining
matter alleged to be marijuana.
