1.00 Tenders
in two covers are invited through “e” Procurement Portal
(Website URL:https://eproc.karnataka.gov.in) for the work of “Comprehensive
annual maintenance contract of automated dewatering system of drainage
galleries at Linganamakki dam and Linganamakki Power House well for a
period of one year, Linganamakki – 577421, Shimoga - Dist, Karnataka.”
from reputed bidders with proven track record of successful completion of similar works.
2.00 Tender documents may be downloaded from Government of Karnataka e-Procurement
Website URL:https://eproc.karnataka.gov.in under login of bidders. After login, tender
document can be downloaded from the portal within prescribed date and time published
in the portal. Tenders must be electronically submitted (on-line through internet) with in
the due date and time published in e-procurement portal
3.00 Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of Rs.21,250/- (Rupees Twenty One Thousand
Two Hundred and Fifty Only) and tender processing fee should be paid online
through e-Procurement portal using any of the payment modes like Credit Card,
Direct Debit, National Electronic Fund Transfer (NEFT), Over the Counter (OTC). The
transaction fee is non-refundable.
4.00 THE
BIDDERS
SHALL
HAVE
THE
FOLLOWING
PRE-QUALIFYING
REQUIREMENTS:
a)
The bidder shall be a regular Manufacturer/contractor/agency/firm and shall
have proven experience in carrying out operation and maintenance of heavy
duty pumps, motors and its accessories to power utilities/ reputed
organizations. In proof of the above, purchase order/work order/ work
completion certificates copies issued from competent authority should be
furnished.
b)
The Bidder in the last five financial years should have achieved in at least
two financial years an average annual financial turnover of Rs.10.00 lakhs. In
proof Annual Report/turn over certificates duly certified by chartered
accountant shall be furnished.
c)
Bidder shall have Independent PF code registration certificate obtained from
PF authorities, IT PAN No, VAT No/ Service Tax Registration certificates. In
proof, PF registration,IT PAN No, VAT No/ Service Tax Registration
certificates copies shall be furnished.
d)
The bid of the bidders whose contracts have been terminated/ foreclosed in
KPCL or elsewhere during last 05 years and also those who do not meet the
above tender Pre-qualifying requirement will be rejected.
e)
Bidders have to compulsorily visit work site before quoting to have hands on
information about site conditions. The letter issued from Executive Engineer
(Elect) LPH has to be enclosed as a proof of visiting the site.

-25.00 BRIEF SCOPE OF WORK:
Brief scope of work covers preventive and breakdown maintenance of dewatering
system by keeping the Pumps and accessories in normal working condition round
the clock. Attending to all breakdown and preventive maintenance of automated
dewatering system of drainage galleries at Linganamakki dam and LPH well without
any delay. The contractor has to deploy necessary personal round the clock for
maintenance and operation of dewatering system. The service provider has to
maintain ready stock of requisite spares in good condition through out
the
comprehensive annual maintenance contract period to facilitate immediate
replacement of defective parts.

8.00 After evaluation of Technical Bid and whose offer meet the PQR and technical
specification of the tender/bid in complete manner will be accepted and only such
bidders Financial bid will be opened.
9.00 The quantity of work mentioned/indicated in tender may vary depending on the
actual requirement at the time of placing the work order
10.00 The bidder shall quote in Indian Rupees only. The contractor shall quote his rates
considering of all applicable taxes as per the latest G.O.K. orders.
11.00 KPCL reserves the right to verify the authenticity of any or all the certificates furnished
by any or all the tenders from the authorities who have issued the same. If it is found that
any of the agency/agencies have furnished false certificates/ information, the tenders
submitted by them are liable for rejection.
