AGENDA:
1. Complete warmup #39 on the following quote: “If
nothing changes, nothing changes.” What does this
quote mean to you? Recount any personal experience
with this quote.
2. In all fairness, complete documentary on Born to Trouble:
Huck Finn to present both sides of the argument for banning
the teaching of this book in public schools and why…Write
down reasons posed for and against banning Huck Finn.
3. Begin to read Explanatory, Notice and pp. 3-6 from The
Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. Discuss elements of satire,
using “A Liberating Curriculum” by Roberta Borkat as an
example.
