STUDENT DECLARATION
I understand that the information given on this form will be used to accommodate my
choices as far as possible. I further understand that should there not be enough students
wishing to study my chosen subject it will not run and that I will be given the opportunity to
study my reserve preference. I will comply with staff expectations of me and demonstrate
good behaviour during the time of my membership of Denefield Sixth Form. I understand
that a book and equipment fee of £20 will be payable by me on registration, £10 of which
will be refunded when the books and materials issued to me are returned. I also
understand and accept that I shall be required to sign a Student Learning Agreement
regarding my conduct in the Sixth Form, and I accept that I may be required to leave the
Sixth Form if I fail to attend regularly and punctually or carry out instructions given by staff
regarding effort, achievement and behaviour.

Entry Qualifications for Denefield Sixth Form
To study the full range of AS Level subjects you will need to have achieved an average of
46 points from your GCSE qualifications (mostly B grades +) and, a minimum of B grades in
science and/or mathematics should you be applying to study these subjects.
To study some facilitating subjects or BTEC qualifications you will need to have achieved
an average of 40-45 points from your GCSE qualifications (mostly Cs and Bs). You will not
be able to study any science or mathematics subjects at AS.
To study BTEC qualifications you will need to have achieved an average of 20-39 points
from your GCSE qualifications (mostly Cs and Ds). As a minimum you must have achieved
four GCSEs at grade C, including English.
