(NPQSL) 2015/16
Who is the programme for?
You should be in a leadership role with cross-school responsibilities, or be about to take on a substantive
senior leader role, in a primary, secondary or special school. You should not only have responsibility for
leading a team, but also be involved in a range of activities that affect the whole school organisation. It is
aimed at senior leaders including deputy/assistant heads, SENCo, or ASTs who are looking for professional
development, but not aspiring to headship at this stage of their career. NPQSL will help you to develop the
skills, knowledge and confidence that you need to be a highly effective senior leader in a school.
