APRIL WORD OF THE MONTH: LOYALTY
Be loyal to yourself and others.
“TODAY IN HISTORY”: On this day in 1914,
W.H. Carrier patents the air conditioner
(much needed in California ) ; in 1967 , Muhammad Ali refuses induction into the U.S. army &
is stripped of his boxing title; and, in 1986 , the world's worst nuclear power plant disaster
occurs at the USSR site of Chernobyl.
Congratulations to all of the fine student artists we have here at Wilson.
The student art
show was a great success and we all hope you enjoyed it. Anyone can draw - you just have to
be taught how! (Mrs. Sutphin)
Congratulations to the cast and crew of Romeo and Juliet-Together (and Alive!)
at Last!!!! It was a very entertaining show, and your hard work and dedication truly paid off.
We are very proud of you! Thank you to all of the Wilson faculty & staff & wonderful parent
