The Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission invites applications for filling up of the
following contractual posts from competent, dedicated and dynamic citizens of India who
fulfill the eligibility criteria strictly as per the application format and the eligibility criteria
which can be downloaded from the website http://www.ipc.gov.in of the Commission
together with self-attested copies of supporting documents within 15 days of its
publication in the news paper.

Essential Qualification
M.Sc. and MLISc or equivalent from a recognized University/
Institution with 02 years experience in the related field. Should
have good knowledge of library software and have good
communication skills.
Nature of Duties
Maintenance of library & information centre/documentation,
accessioning of documents/classification & cataloguing of
document/indexing & abstracting of periodicals/compilation of
CAS/SDI/data entry/newspaper clipping/reference service,
technical writing etc. and related correspondence thereto and any
other work assigned from time to time.

writing /typesetting, page making, layout & design, edition and
proof reading etc. of official publication of IPC/photography & its
application to design.
Graduate Degree preferably in science from any recognized
University/Institution. One year diploma/certificate course in data
entry/computer applications from Government recognized
organization/institute. Typing speed of 40 w.p.m. in English and 25
w.p.m.in Hindi.

Intermediate from a recognized board/10th with 01 year experience/
8th with 02 years experience in Store/Maintenance/Office/relevant
Primary duties will include proper housekeeping of the place,
cleaning/washing of the equipment, loading & unloading of goods
