B)
Scope and Objective:
 Responsible for Design, Engineering and Estimation
 Responsible for submission of estimations for all the enquiries within the targeted time in
coordination with Sales Offices.
 Responsible for submission of drawings and submittals within the stipulated time.
 Verification of Design of switchboards & drawing submissions
 Responsible for Design Development / Re-design of switchboards
 Responsible for standardization of designs.

Tasks
 Plan and make use of available resources to ensure smooth and proper flow of activities to
achieve the management targets.
 Verification of offers for Tenders / Enquiries and submission of the same to sales offices in
time.
 Verification of drawings and submittals in time.
 Attend Technical Discussions (for drawing approval & product approval)
 Follow-up with sales offices for faster approval of the drawings
 Issue Work Orders (Procurement details)
 Issue shop floor instructions (Assembly drawings, name plate details, etc.)
 Resolve issues raised during production process
 Clarify queries during customer inspection of product
 Arrange for final contract documents and O & M Manuals
 Visit to sites for quality feedbacks.
 Sourcing of new competitive vendors for the components
 Effective control and monitoring of design changes and variation claims.

Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering
7-15 Years experience in similar capacity
English
28-38 years
Special knowledge:
Substantial Professional and specialized knowledge in the following areas :
- Thorough knowledge in LV, MV & Intelligent Motor Control Centres (IMCC)
- Knowledge in Control & Relay Panel is an advantage.
- Well versed with specifications, IEC Standards & ISO 9001 procedures & quality systems.
- Preparation of drawings by using AutoCAD
- Systematic planning & manpower utilization
- Leading and guidance of personnel
- Coordination with all concerned departments
- Should have experience in commercial aspects
- Highly motivated and a self-starter
