content of a historical nature to GPS-enabled mobile devices with wireless broadband network access. The
content is stored in a standards-based object repository and delivered to the user based upon their physical
location at selectable levels of granularity and upon their self-selected range of interest.
Expansion of the Next Exit History application to include a location based service leveraging social
networking technologies to allow users of the iShareHistory™ mobile application to create and share media
content with others based upon their geographical location.
ArgoScience, http://argoscience.uwf.edu: Free science resources for teachers to use with students via
WWW or print, aligned to Florida’s Sunshine State Standards and National Science Standards. Co-Inventor
with Dr. Pam Northrup and Dr. Karen Rasmussen.
eLON, electronic Learning Objects Manager. Content development system with associated repository for
development of content for multiple delivery systems. Co-Inventor with Dr. Pam Northrup, Dr. Karen
Rasmussen, and ATC staff. Commercialized product.
QuickScienceTM, patent pending, commercialized, http://quickscience.uwf.edu: Diagnostic and instructional
product containing over 800 resources and tools to increase student performance in science.
Development and implementation of streaming video components to online professional development
application for K-12 teachers.
Design and implementation of video bridge-based second- and third generation interactive digital video
distance learning networks. University of West Florida Division of Information Technology Services
Evaluation, design and implementation of the web-based instructional course management system for the
University of West Florida Educational Technology Services Department.
Design and implementation of the instructional technology component of the University of West Florida's
Division of Academic Affairs Classroom Renovation Project. Chaired faculty advisory committee for
project.
