ALGEBRA 2
This course reinforces and expands on ideas coming out of Algebra 1,
then builds on these and incorporates ideas from Geometry and becomes
a preparation for Trigonometry.

- Students will learn about angles and degree measurements
- Students will learn about the trig functions as related to triangles
- Students will learn about the laws of sine and cosine for nonright triangles
- Students will learn to find the area of nonright triangles
- Students may study about sin and cos as it is related to circles

o Students may study trig identities
o Students may also look briefly at vectors, matrices, or some simple statistics
CULTURAL DIVERSITY – Students will complete multicultural worksheets
