Dear Friend of Rotary,
The Tacoma North Rotary Club's mission is to help youth in our community and the world.
To increase our ability to fund our efforts, the Tacoma North Rotary Club holds an annual
dinner and auction at C.I. Shenanigans in Tacoma. This year the event is being held on May
5th, 2012. Happy Cinco de Mayo! In the first 20 years of the event, the Tacoma North Rotary
Club has raised over $230,000 which has been put back into the community. Last year alone,
with almost 100 attendees, our club raised $20,000! The money we raise support programs
such as:
The Local Community
 Dictionaries to all 3rd grade students in the Tacoma School District
 Mary Bridge Children's Hospital's Courage Classic
 Gonyea Boys and Girls Club
 The Children’s Museum of Tacoma
 Peace Community Center
The World Community
 Polio eradication in conjunction with Rotary International's $600 million effort
 Shelterbox
As an additional incentive, you would receive credit for your donation as a charitable
contribution [501(c)3 tax ID# 91-1539427], and the pride and satisfaction for aiding a great
organization.
