Mary Cline Memorial Undergraduate Research Award in Environmental Science
This award honors activities by undergraduate students within the Environmental Program at
the University of Washington Tacoma. This award was established to enhance student learning,
environmental understanding and research skills as well as to provide an avenue for students to
contribute to the campus, the local community and the larger scientific community. Recipients of these
awards are students who demonstrate potential for pursuing and completing research projects, thus
applying critical thinking, empirical analysis and communication skills as they work towards their
undergraduate degrees.
