Draw will be conducted at the Percy Page Centre, Edmonton during the week of
May 15 and rotations will be distributed after confirmation of spelling and
correctness of the information received from the provinces.
Please indicate on the registration form if you have a showpiece or fun routine
(individual, group or team) which you would like to perform on Sunday
afternoon. A limited number of gala performances will be permitted due to
time constraints.

Provinces are requested to send the team information electronically.
Reminder: All forms requiring a signature can be emailed to national team pool
members and potential participants prior to Regional Championships and can
be ready to be collected immediately following qualification at Regionals.

Late Registration Fee of $50.00 per participant will be applied, and will be
invoiced to the province. The waiver and medical forms (attached) must also be
completed for every registered participant (athletes, coaches, team managers
and JUDGES.)
The registration forms (attached) along with the payment must be RECEIVED
by May 5th at Rhythmic Gymnastics Alberta

All forms must be duly and fully completed. Incomplete forms (i.e.
missing birthday, NCCP numbers, missing or incomplete medical and/or waiver
forms, etc.) will be charged a penalty fee of $20 per registered
participant, which will be invoiced to the province.
Written request for refund due to medical reasons can be made to the attention
of Odette Lindstrom, Meet Director, with a copy to Danielle Frattaroli at
Gymnastics Canada Gymnastique – RG Programs.
There will be NO
reimbursement of the registration fee for non-medical reasons.

All National Team Coaches are required to attend the National
Team Coaches Meeting
All Brevet judges in attendance at the competition are required to
attend the Brevet Judge Council meeting.
These meetings will discuss the new GCG Program Committee Structure and is
required as per GCG policy

A Middle-Eastern themed night at the hotel – Join us for Dinner and a BellyDancing class at 6:30 pm on Saturday evening.
Menu will include Hummus/Pita Chips, Greek Salad, Tossed Salad, Chicken
Souvlaki and dessert.

The GCG accreditation procedures will apply. The system consists of colour
coded categories and access zones. GCG reserves the right to take away any
accreditation if the rules are not followed. Accreditation will be distributed
upon arrival to the competition venue. The accreditation must be worn to
access the venue and the competitive area.

Dr. Kirk Lewis, a chiropractor, has kindly volunteered his time and expertise to
assist gymnasts for treatment and support throughout the competition. He is
happy to assist with soft-tissue, mobility, taping and other immediate issues.

Each Category - Top 8 athletes AA and top 8 athletes per apparatus. Trophies
will be presented to the Individual event champions.

DEADLINES
Provinces are responsible to reserve hotel rooms for their judges. The hotel
shuttle will be provided on a schedule, and it would be considerate if judges
would let the organizing committee know if they plan to walk or take the
shuttle. Breakfast and lunch will be provided to the judges at the competition
venue during scheduled competitions. Dinners will be provided at Edmonton
restaurants and judges are cordially invited to come to the banquet for their
Saturday dinner.

SALEABLE GOODS
United Cycle, the only general sporting goods store in Western Canada that
supports and contributes to the development and promotion of rhythmic
gymnastics, has arranged to sell rhythmic gymnastics equipment and apparel
at the venue. Their staff will be happy to show you the latest in Lime Apple
Wear AND Sasaki Equipment, including toe shoes, balls, ribbons, ribbon sticks
and souvenir items.
T-SHIRTS
A T-shirt press will be on site to provide event wear, thanks to the generosity

GCG has arranged for Grace Chiu to be the official photographer at all national

PHOTOGRAPHY
NOTE: Coach Exemption Forms are to be sent directly to GCG-RG Programs.
Accreditation will only be given to those managers and coaches who are
registered. Please ensure that all parents, supporters and others traveling
with the team understand that access to the practice area is not permitted
without accreditation. This is for the security of the gymnasts.
REMEMBER – Incomplete forms will be charged back to the province at $20.00 per
participant.
ROUTINE SCRIPT SUBMISSION:
1. All forms must be completed and returned by May 26th 2010. No forms will be
accepted after this date and will automatically disqualify the gymnast from the
competition without any refund.
2. All forms must be sent to :

3. In filling out these forms it is important that the information be very clear. Please
ensure that the gymnast’s and coach’s names are legible. We recommend that these
names be written in DARK block letters. In the case of light print-outs, please rephotocopy at a darker setting to ensure that the script will be visible to the judges. The
coach’s signature is mandatory, we ask that all coaches print their names next to their
signature
4. It will be the responsibility of each coach to send by mail (NOT FAX) one (1) copy of
each gymnast's or group's form for the judges. The organizing committee will make
the necessary copies as required. (a $5 fee is included in the registration fee for this.)
