Family Support Worker – Immediate Opening
Children First is a local foster/kinship family-care agency with a 20 history of service to Edmonton
families. We are currently looking for a mature individual to assume the role of supervision and support
to Kinship and Foster Parent homes in the greater Edmonton areas. Forward cover letter and resume to:

The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to the family unit and is able to embrace Cultural
Diversity. This position will rely heavily on your crisis management and family assessment skills.
Knowledge of Alberta child protection services is desirable. Dependable transportation is required.
Supervisory experience and a diploma or degree in human services is required. As a family mentor, high
personal ethical standards is a must. Applicants must be able to provide a clear IRC and CRIM checks.
Children First offers a competitive starting salary ($42,500 to $62,500 salary grid) and excellent
benefits package.
