ENRICO A. MELSON, MD, MPH, FACPM, MBE, QME
Dr. EnRico Melson is a person of wide-ranging background, interests, and life pursuits. He was
a National Merit Scholar while attending Harvard University, receiving his Bachelor's degree in
Public Health, a self-designed concentration, in 1977. He completed his Masters in Public
Health degree at the University of California at Berkeley in 1981.
He also received his Medical education at the University of California at Irvine, and at Stanford
University, receiving his M.D. from UCI in 1982. His post-doctoral training includes:
Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center of Cornell University; Montefiore/ Albert Einstein
Medical Centers of Yeshiva University; The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, of the
US Public Health Service; the Health Care Financing Administration; and University of Iowa
College of Medicine.
Dr. Melson has held several advanced credentials in Medicine, including: General Preventive
Medicine and Public Health; Occupational/ Industrial Medicine; Family Medicine; Pain
Management; Disability Evaluation; and Epidemiology and Health Services Research.
Additionally, he holds such other credentials as: Master Hypnotherapist; Master Practitioner
and Trainer in Neuro Linguistic Programming; Master BioEnergetics Practitioner; and Instructor
in numerous Meditation and Mind/ Body Integration practices. He has directed numerous
programs and clinics in Spa Medicine, Primary Care, Urgent Care, Occupational Medicine and
Integrative Medicine. Enrico is the founder/developer of the HoloLinguistic Awareness (HLA)
methodology, as well as the principal architect of the Integral Awareness Medicine (I- AM)
Syntelligence System.
Dr. Melson is also internationally-known as a Practitioner in Ayurvedic Medicine, the ancient
science and healing practices of India. His studies and practice include the ancient Hawaiian
tradition of Huna, as well as other Shamanistic pursuits. He has contributed significantly
towards the acceptance of Ayurveda and Integrative Medicine approaches in the United States.
He has also been involved extensively in the fields of International Telecommunications, TeleHealth, and Tele-Education (e-Learning) since 1985. Among such (current) projects include:
The National Digital Hospital Integration Project; The Hunan Province/ Changsha Medical City
Project; CCTV-Health Channel; The China Television Group National Network; and The
Human Brain Mapping Project – all these being collaborations between The People's Republic
of China and the United States. He currently serves as Chairman and Chief Health Officer of
The AHA! (Advanced Harmonic Applications) Group, a leading-edge Information and
Communications Technology (ICT) company, based in Silicon Valley, California and Kunming,
China. The AHA! Group develops and deploys SuperComputer + Integral Awareness Modelingbased Applications for eHealth, eLearning, and Digital Media markets.
EnRico's experiences and contributions in the fields or International health and Disaster
Medicine stem from his personal growth, centered in globally-conscious Service of the New
Millennium. From the Siege of Beirut and the Massacre at Sabra-Shatillah, Lebanon - to the
Sandinista-Contra civil war in Nicaragua -- to the volcanic mudslide of Armero, Colombia -ENRICO MELSON, MD

"Rico" volunteered his medical knowledge and skills to help those in need. These experiences,
and others, fostered a personal transformation in him, to promote greater healing and conflict
resolution, and to re-integrate into the Wholeness of Our Being. Whether speaking with
Hadassah support groups, or to Nursing students in Cairo, or to Eskimo communities in Alaska,
or to international Telecommunications leaders in Rio de Janeiro -- Dr Melson espouses a
message:
“To be INTEGRAL is to connect the local with the global concerns, to see
one as contained within the other, how one does not exist without the other,
and how one's actions on either level are actions on both levels.“
Rico applies his skills and Heart with tremendous flexibility and versatility. He nurtures
environments wherein people can experience harmony, alignment, and balance. This
applies as much to corporate boardrooms as to religious gatherings, as much to large
entrepreneur groups as to individual self-exploration, as much to personal healing or
excellence-learning as to political conflict resolution. Dr. Melson serves on numerous
Boards of Directors and Advisory Councils in the health, business, spiritual, and
educational communities. He demonstrates his gratitude and good fortune to have such a
wide array of opportunities in service to Humankind, as experienced by his audiences in
over 200 speaking engagements around the world.
Rico has three children: Che’, 22; Nolan, 17; and Krystyanna, 7. They are all members of
the Human Race.
