AGROMET ADVISORY BULLETIN FROM CHHINDWARA DISTRICT
Weather summery of the preceding week
On the basis of past weather recorded maximum and minimum temperature during last five days is 33.0 to
35.8 and 18.5 to 23.8 0C, respectively; partial cloudy weather and no rainfall.
Weather Forecast for next five days (w.e.f., 14 April 2015)
On the basis of the forecast received from Gramin Krishi Mausam Seva, Indian Meteorological
Department, Bhopal weather during next five days (14 April 2015 to 18 April 2015) over Chhindwara partial
to cloudy and 2 to 6 mm rainfall is expected in the next 120 hours. Maximum and Minimum temperature
will be around of 29 to 34 0C and 16 to 22 0C respectively & Maximum and Minimum Relative Humidity
will be around of 36 to 72 % and 17 to 38 % respectively. Wind will be blown mainly from east south
directions with an average speed of 3 to 8 km/h.

Agro-advisory for next week: As per weather forecast partial to medium cloud and 2 to 6 mm
rainfall is expected next 5 days farmers are advice due to partial cloudy weather and decreasing
maximum and minimum temp. Farmers are advised to drying of the crop full sun light after
threshing.

Prepare fields and planted and cucurbits, Okra and
cowpea at a recommended distance.
Due to cloudy weather and light rainfall forecasted attach the disease so vaccination of
animals is recommended.
Provide concentrate feed to cattle mix with dry and green fodder and insure for enrich
diet having protein, carbohydrate, fat, vitamins etc. to them.
Create neem leaves smoke in night to save them from mosquitoes and bees.
Farmers are advised to contact the nearest Agricultural Research Station, KVKs, Agricultural
officers or field level workers of department of agriculture for any type of problem related
farming.
