PLANNING INFORMATION SESSIONS
Qualified staff members are available by appointment to explain the content of current planning
applications.
The service is being provided to assist members of the public and residents groups in understanding
planning applications currently part of the planning process. The service is not intended to provide general
planning advice or to assist in the drafting of submissions in relation to planning objections, observations
and appeals.
All queries in relation to site specific planning guidance or pre-application discussion should be directed to
the area planner, Planning Department, Block 4, Floor 3, Civic Offices, Wood Quay, Dublin 8.

roof with cladding to the original height of 9.41m and increasing
a 1.610 sq.m section of the roof to a height of 15.5m. A
ventilation cowl with an area of 44.4sq.m. located on the roof
will be 300mm above the new roof height resulting in a total
height of 15.8m. The new roof will be of a flat roof construction
with falls. A new opening will be provided for truck movements
of aggregate within the yard area. The total floor area of the
warehouse will remain unchanged. The proposed Cold Mix
Production plant within the warehouse consists of 4 No. Silos
3.7m Diameter and 8.4m high. The total floor area of the above
tanks is 43sq.m. and a max height of 8.4m to the roof kerb
angle. The total storage capacity of the above tanks is 320
tons. Also contained within the warehouse will be raw material
aggregate storage bays, aggregate conveyor, mixing plant
conveyor, cold mix hopper, dust extraction system, ventilation
systems, fire fighting equipment, product pipework and steam
and condensate pipework. It is proposed that the existing site
access/egress will be used for the delivery of the aggregate to
the site. All finished product trucks will use a separate access
to the site from an existing entrance to the warehouse from
Alexandra Road. Finished product egress from the site will be
through an existing gate to the east of the site onto North
Branch Road No. 2. The site is located on Alexandra Road,
Dublin Port, Dublin 1. The site is bound by Tolka Quay Road to
the North, North Branch Road No. 2 to the East, Alexandra
Road to the South and Texoil Ltd to the West.
