ALL LOCALS WITH BELL ALIANT CLERICAL MEMBERS
Greetings,
Your bargaining team met with the Company in Ottawa to begin negotiations on
September 24, 2015. The Company told us that it is their intention to re-integrate
the Bell Aliant Clerical members into the Bell Canada Clerical bargaining unit by
December 1, 2017. Your Committee presented proposals to the Company to deal
with what we believe the issues are in relation to this re-integration.
Discussions between the parties are cordial and respectful and will continue on
October 21, 2015. We ask for your continued support and solidarity as we move
through the process.
Your Bargaining Team will update you as further information becomes available.
