2014 Capistrano Unified School District Honor Strings Concert, Saturday, March 8, 2014 at
Crossline Community Church at 7:00 PM.
The High School Honor Symphony Orchestra will perform at both the Honor Band and Honor Strings Concerts on March 8, 2014.
Please make sure that you are not signed up to take the SAT test on March 10 th before you commit to participating in the Honor
Symphonic Orchestra

Students will be informed by e-mail and a list posted in their high school music room if accepted in the group.
Admission to the honor concert is $10.00 for adults and $8.00 for students at the door, the day of the concert.
Audition process: Students will audition in front of a music professional in the industry. You will be asked to play a two octave
chromatic scale and selected major scales (prepare all major keys) and the required audition selection and sight reading.
Attendance: Attendance at all evening rehearsals and the two concerts on March 8, 2014 is mandatory.
Eligibility: Only high school students currently enrolled in a Capistrano USD band or orchestra class are eligible to audition, and
must remain in a music class the second semester in order to play in the honor group.
