Attention Mrs. Woods A.P. Students: Please pick up your handout from Room 120B.
Reminder to Seniors and Staff: There will be a class meeting the last 10 minutes of 2 nd period.
Seniors: Jostens will be here on Friday morning starting at 7 a.m. to distribute senior items. If you have not ordered a can and gown
you need to stop by and see them tomorrow. The package is $50 and needs to be paid for in cash or money order. If you do not have
a cap and gown you can not walk at graduation.
Congrats to the Cruiser JV Softball team for their 9-4 victory over Pickerington Central last night.
Students and Staff: The Collision concert is this Friday at 7:30 p.m. here at the High School. Tickets are $2 now or $3 at the door.
You can buy them from any Percussionist. This will be a truly amazing performance. Be sure to go and support your Groveport
Percussionist.
The Groveport Recreation Center will be starting a 3 on 3 basketball league this summer. Any Boy/Girl entering 7th grade or their
senior year will be eligible to participate. This league will be open to ANY eligible boy/girl. There will be information in the office or
the Groveport Rec Center website or call 836-1000. Get your friends and start a team, there may be several divisions with different
skill levels.
Students: Please check the Main Office window for the list of students who qualified for the Academic Honors program. You must
have a 3.6 GPA for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd nine weeks. Please check with your Counselor if you have any questions. The Academic
Honors Program will be on May 13th.
There will be an all Spanish/French Club cookout on Friday, April 30 th from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. Please see your French or Spanish
teacher to sign-up.
The next Cruiser Cash drawing will be for two $10 McDonalds Gift Cards. Just drop two Cruiser Cash in the bucket in the Office by
this afternoon. You can enter as many times as you would like.
Seniors: Prom tickets will be on sale for $35 each thru May 7th. The ticket price will increase on Monday, May 10th. You must have
your guest form completed and with you when purchase the tickets. See Ms. Soltis in her office by Room 120 for tickets or any
additional information. After Prom tickets are also on sale in the Main Office for $15 each. Fees and Fines must be paid before
purchasing tickets.
Attention Seniors: If you have received scholarships from any sources, whether they are private agencies or universities, please bring
a copy of the documentation for that scholarship to your counselor by Thursday, May 6 th if you would like that information to be
included in our senior recognition program.
Attention Seniors: If you are planning to be a teacher, The GMLEA/Buckley Scholarship is available in the Guidance Office. You
must have at least a cumulative 3.0 GPA to apply. Applications are due May 3 rd in the Guidance Office. If you are attending either
Bowling Green State University or The University of Toledo in the fall, there are applications for a new scholarship available in the
Guidance office. If you are interested in applying for the Southeast Suburban Realtors Scholarship you should pick up an
application from your Guidance Counselor. The apps are due May 7 th in the Guidance Office.
Staff: GMLEA Officer elections will take place today at 1:45 in the Library. Please stop by and cast your vote. Also, the GMLEA
Bargaining Bash is this afternoon beginning at 4 p.m. at Kingy’s Pizza. There will be free pizza and soda for all association
members. Members who attend will receive a small gift. This event is paid for through an OEA grant.
