Please be advised that Crayola Canada does not provide Material Safety
Data Sheets for CRAYOLA products.
CRAYOLA products are packaged and labeled as consumer products
and are not “controlled products” as defined by the Hazardous Products
Act. They are therefore exempt from WHMIS requirements and do not
require Material Safety Data Sheets.
In addition, our company is a member of the Art and Creative Materials
Institute Inc. and our CRAYOLA products are certified in a program of
toxicological evaluation by a medical expert, subject to the Institute’s
Toxicological Advisory Board. CRAYOLA products contain no
materials in sufficient quantities to be toxic or injurious to humans or to
cause acute or chronic health problems.
