Location: El Segundo
Salary: $20-$30 hourly. $30 + plus hourly is considered with exceptional multimedia interactive
E-learning development experience.

Department: Training & Organizational Development
Position plays an important role as part of the Big 5 Sporting Goods training team and works with
Sporting
Good vendors, subject matter experts, develop and maintain fun and engaging e learning courses,
webinars,
Seminars and other training resources. Responsibilities include needs assessments, collaborating with
vendors and subject matter experts to collect and organize available assets, designing & developing
interactive and fun
Training courses, script writing, audio/ video editing, testing course functionality, collecting and
analyzing post training assessments, make updates to courses and training materials as needed.
Requirements:
Two or more years of instructional design experience creating Interactive Learning courses & training
resources
Experience updating & maintaining e learning curriculum and content
Intermediate use of Microsoft Office Suite & Photoshop
Experienced with training authoring tools (Adobe Captivate, Articulate storyline, or Camtasia)
Experience organizing curriculum within a learning management system.
Team oriented with professional communication skills and strong presentation abilities
An eye for detail with the ability to troubleshoot issues and recommend effective solutions
Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously and complete milestones before deadlines
Desired
Some graphic design experience
Basic Audio/ Video editing experience
Knowledge of basic Java and/ or HTML for use within authoring tools desired
Retail experience and knowledge of sporting goods a plus but not required
Education
Bachelor’s degree
Instructional Design, or other training certificates desired
