Compared to last Monday, Feeder Steers and Feeder Heifers 3.00 higher,
Slaughter Cows and Slaughter Bulls steady. Number of cattle in the market
showed
a recovery from recent inclement weather. Bidding was spirited for good
conditioned cattle.
Slaughter cows made up 12 percent of the offering, slaughter bulls 1 percent,
replacement cows 7 percent, other cows 3 percent, and feeders 76 percent.
The
feeder supply included 32 percent steers, 44 percent heifers, and 24 percent
bulls. Near 11 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
