This report reflects prices of the majority of cattle with a USDA grade,
weight and sex on this sale date. This report does not reflect all animals at
the sale on this date. Compared to last Monday, Feeder Steers and Feeder
Heifers steady, Slaughter Cows 2.00 higher, Slaughter Bulls steady. Good
offering of well conditioned cattle with active buyer participation. Light
demand for thin cattle and cattle with dairy influence.
Slaughter cows made up 9 percent of the offering, slaughter bulls 2 percent,
replacement cows 9 percent, and feeders 81 percent. The feeder supply
included 24 percent steers, 39 percent heifers, and 37 percent bulls. Near 16
percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
