from 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
High School Parking Decals are for Students in grades 9-12.
Cost is $25.
Students must present:
a valid driver’s license
proof of insurance and
complete pages 1 and 2 of the Registration Forms below.
Student Parking Forms are also available in the
Principal's office at the High School.

I understand that the Ocean Springs High School District is not responsible for any theft, vandalism, or
damages to my vehicle on the school grounds. Mississippi minimum liability insurance must be maintained at all
times. I understand that failure to comply with school rules and district policies could result in the loss of
parking privilege. In addition, the application of other consequences as outlined in the student handbook may
apply (Ocean Springs High School Agenda). I agree to park only in the designated student parking which is
marked by the white lines and abide by all such guidelines. I understand that I am responsible for all costs if
my vehicle is towed from campus. If I use or allow my vehicle to be used to leave campus without
authorization, it shall result in immediate and automatic forfeiture of my parking privilege.

Vehicle Registration Instructions
1.
Please have his registration form completed when you come to the office to
receive your parking decal.
2.
Each vehicle in Mississippi must have current proof of insurance. The form
must be signed by parent/guardian who is listed on the insurance card. This
will confirm that the student is insured and he/she is authorized to operate
that vehicle.
3.
The student must have a valid driver’s license. This does not apply to
military dependents; they may operate a vehicle provided that they have a
valid out of state license.
4.
Registration will cost $25.00 for each vehicle. Checks must be made out to
“Ocean Springs High School”, have a street address (no p. o. box), 2
telephone numbers and the student’s name. Cash will also be accepted.
5.
Seniors, juniors, and sophomores can park on campus. Students are not
assigned spaces so there is no need to rush.
UNDERSTANDING
I understand that vehicles parked on school grounds property are subject to
be searched and that parking on school property constitutes consent to be
searched. I also understand that the school will tow any car that is:
1. Does not have a current sticker, valid
License, current tag, and proof of insurance
2. Does not belong to the registered student
3. Parked in a teacher/staff parking space
