Greetings from St. Giles Preschool,
On Saturday May 3rd, 2014 we are holding our biennial Silent Auction.
We would like to ask you to consider donating merchandise or gift certificates for our auction.
St Giles Preschool Centre is a play-based, Parent Participation Preschool (PPP). We are a non-profit
organization and registered charity. Our preschool has been providing quality early childhood education
for our community for over 66 years. Over 1700 children and families have come through our hallways.
A PPP is about family - the parents serve as volunteers and work closely with teachers to provide an
enriching and nurturing environment.
Our program would not be possible without the commitment and fundraising efforts of our families
and businesses in the community.
Your item or donation of any size is very much appreciated and the proceeds will be used to fund our art
supplies, field trips, childrens’ equipments, and parent education programs. In addition, we are required
to relocate this year because our facility is undergoing redevelopment- these funds will help cover
moving cost to our new location.

Please provide us with business cards or promotional brochures as a means of advertising your
business. Tax receipts will be issued for donations valued at $25 or more. A reply by April 15 is
appreciated, as we want to ensure that your company name is recognized in the auction’s program and
our website.
