Application CCS Summer Honors Session 2016 Exploring Key Dimensions of Global Citizenship Sustainability—Ethics/Humanity – Political Infrastructure May 23- June 23, 2016 CCS 501 APPLICATION OVERVIEW Admission Requirements Admission to the CCS Summer Honors Session 2016 is for current CCS Students (graduating seniors included.) The admissions committee is looking for highly-motivated students who are interested in attending the program because they have a passion for learning, are interested in completing field work and wish to enrich their knowledge of global citizenship. Students who are applying should have successfully completed fall 2015 term and be in good academic and financial standing for the spring 2016 semester. Admission Application Students need to fully complete the following application, activities and essays and submit to the CCS mailbox (CCS@tcnj.edu) no later than January 15, 2016. Applications will not be considered complete without all items. Admission Activities/Essay Students are required to conduct the research activities noted on the application and complete the essay questions. Essay questions should be typed in a word document. We request that student’s answer the questions in their own words. Basic editing is permitted by outside parties. Personal Interviews In certain cases, applicants may be required to interview with a member of the admissions committee to determine admission to the program. Admission Acceptance Decision on student’s admission to the CCS Summer Honors Session 2016 will be issued via email (from CCS@TCNJ.edu) by the end of January. Given limited spots, we will need student’s acceptance in writing no later than one week after receipt of admission notification.
