article “ DNA Double Take” by Carl Zimme

On a separate piece of paper, use complete sentences that include the question
to thoroughly answer and explain each of the following questions.
1. According to the Kahn Academy Genetics 101 part 3 video, where did
your genome come from?
2. What new findings about the genome does Carl Zimmer report in his
article “DNA Double Take“?
3. Describe at least two different pieces of evidence scientists used to
support the theory that people can contain multiple genomes.
4. What do these findings mean for fields like forensic science and genetic
counseling? Explain using examples.
5. Does the Zimmer article mean that the information from 23andMe.com
is somehow “wrong”? Explain.
6. In your own words, explain how this new finding about the genome
illustrates the dynamic nature of science.
