Meeting Name Location: Meeting Date and Time: Next Meeting Scheduled: Joint CDS/HeD WG Meeting Conference Call February 27, 2013 @ 3pm Eastern March 13, 2013 @ 3pm Eastern Agenda • • • • Review non-metadata items Review post-ballot schema changes Other Items Next Steps Discussion Non-Metadata Items Aziz Boxwala walked the group through changes to the non-metadata (complex types) items. The following is a list of the changes, including the rationale for the change: CO (Code Ordinal) was added. It was copied from the ISO 10-290 file and will be used in the Documentation Template part of the Artifacts. Coded Ordinal Literal was added to Compliment the Code Ordinal. Quality Internal Literal was removed because abstract types cannot have literal expressions. Mod was renamed to Modulo. Div was renamed to Truncated Div. Complex Literal was added. It allows the creation of action sentences with a less verbose impact. It can also support an xml literal of any type in the expression language. Within resulted from a name change of an overload. It is now inclusive of endpoints. Interval Begin and Interval End were added. They specify the lower and upper band of an interval. List Constraint (numeric equivalent) was removed. List Constraint (display text) was added. CS was removed because it was conflicting. All (#48) was modified. All (#49) was added. It will be used as a placeholder for now. Collect Information was added. Declare Response was added. Response Binding was added. Schema Changes The group voted on whether to keep the following changes to the schema: ID, setID, & versionNumber o The group decided (6 affirmative votes; 0 negative votes) to go back to the HeD schema instead of using HQMF. The rationale for doing this is because it supports multiple identifiers. Page 1 Schema Identifier and Schema ID; Embedded version o The group decided (4 affirmative votes; 0 negative votes) to change Schema ID back to Schema Identifier and to have Version Number as a separate field. Status Code and Status o The group decided (4 affirmative votes; 0 negative votes) to change Status Code to Status to be consistent with the HeD Schema. Language Code and Language o The group decided (4 affirmative votes; 0 negative votes) to change Language Code to Language to be consistent with the HeD Schema. o The group also decided to incorporate the element for language. Event History o There was no change to the schema yet. Contribution o The HeD structure was kept. Applicability Value o The post-schema changes resulted in change the Value to type Any. The group dissented by stating that they don’t want to represent anything. Rather, they prefer to make specs explicit in the structure itself. o The group decided (3 affirmative votes; 0 negative votes) to keep Value as type CD. o The group decided (4 affirmative votes; 0 negative votes) to keep the name change of Value from Code. Coverage o The group decided (4 affirmative votes; 0 negative votes) to keep Coverage (rather than changing it to Knowledge Attribute). Keywords o The group decided (4 affirmative votes; 0 negative votes) to keep Keywords separate. Party o The group decided (4 affirmative votes; 0 negative votes) to keep the HeD modeling because it is easier to understand. Rather than having an organization as an extension of a party and an organization as an extension of a name (HeD), the group decided to keep an original organization and person. Telacom o Telacom was changed to Contacts. Resource Relationship o The Resource Relationship type was removed. However, the functionality still exists. Other Items The group discussed how vMR objects are referenced. The group agreed to pull out the data model and add an option to create a different model so it would not have to repeat everywhere. HeD will also have a new version of the Implementation Guide (IG) because the schema is changing. There was a suggestion from the community to create a Pilots discussion board. Jamie Parker is currently in the process of creating a Google discussion forum for Pilots. Next Steps Page 2 The Joint CDS/HeD WG meeting is canceled next week (March 6, 2013) due to HIMSS.
