Wendy Evans
Wendy Evans has spent 25-years conducting investigations and
serving as a security professional. Her investigative experience
began in the 1980s as a news reporter at radio stations in
Kentucky. Always interested in the “police beat,” Wendy was
recruited by the Jefferson County Police Department in 1989.
She was a patrol officer until the chief of police recognized her
previous public affairs/investigative experience as a reporter.
She was appointed as Public Information Officer, where she
served before leaving the department in 1996 for a career with
the FBI. Wendy was recruited by the Federal Bureau of
Investigation and attended training at Quantico, Virginia in 1997.
Wendy’s first assignment as Special Agent was on the White
Collar Crime Squad, where she investigated mortgage, bank and
bankruptcy fraud. After the tragic events of 9-11, Wendy joined
the Foreign Counterintelligence Squad, where she served before
resigning in 2003 to care for her growing family. She worked part
time conducting medical investigations from 2003 until 2004.
In February 2006, Wendy joined Lockheed Martin as a Security
Manager and Ethics Officer. Wendy conducted or supervised
hundreds of investigations, at local company levels and for
Corporate Lockheed Martin. She very much values her time
spent in the Defense Industry, where she regularly partnered
with Human Resources professionals.
Wendy is now the owner of Security Impact Group—a company
whose mission is to keep our work places safe and employees
well trained in managing difficult situations.
Wendy has two school-aged children and a spouse employed with
the FBI. She partners with retired FDLE Agent Tom Davis in their
work with the Security Impact Group, LLC.
